In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Huntington Beach City School District schools recently joined forces for a cause – the 13th Annual Teacher Created Materials (TCM) and KFI AM-640 Pasta-thon. The event aims to collect dry pasta and sauce for a local organization, Caterina's Club.
Seacliff Elementary, Moffett Elementary, and Sowers Middle School were shining examples of this benevolent collaboration as they enthusiastically participated and soared to new heights of generosity.
The results are nothing short of spectacular – more than a staggering 5,500 pounds (!!) of pasta and sauce were gathered, showcasing the power of collective goodwill. Witnessing the boxes brimming with donations was an impressive sight, emphasizing our community's commitment to making an impact.
The collected pasta and sauce go directly to Caterina's Club, ensuring that families in need can enjoy hearty meals during the upcoming holiday season.
By embodying the spirit of giving, Seacliff Elementary and other participating schools in Huntington Beach have excelled in a friendly competition and set an inspiring example of community support and generosity.
