Health Services Curriculum Preview and Consent

As part of the health education program in our school district, students in the 5th grade will be shown the following District approved instructional videos regarding changes during growth and development during the months of March-June, depending on their school site:

"Just Around the Corner- for Boys” (ISBN-13:978-1-55942-598-8)

“Just Around the Corner- for Girls” (ISBN-13:978-1-55942-596-4)

You are invited to preview the videos on the following dates/times:

• Monday, February 3, 2025, at 12:00 pm

• Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 5:15 pm 

• Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 6:15 pm (Spanish only)

Please attend one of the four preview sessions, as the videos are unavailable for personal checkout.  Please note that this event is for parents only.

Parents/Guardians who prefer their student(s) not to participate in the class must complete and return the Opt-Out Form, which will be sent home with students in January, by Friday, March 14, 2025.

No form or signature is needed for those who grant permission for their children to see the materials.
