Free Groceries for HBCSD Families – Summer 2025 with Summer Harvest!

Posted Date: 6/11/25 (5:00 PM)

We’re proud to continue our partnership with Summer Harvest – Food for Kids for a second year! Thanks to your support, this local, volunteer-driven nonprofit will once again provide free, nutritious groceries to Huntington Beach City School District (HBCSD) families during the summer break.

Last summer, over 50,000 pounds of groceries were distributed—including fresh produce, pantry staples, helpful recipes, and cooking demos. Summer Harvest also provides school supply backpacks before the school year begins, helping families prepare for a strong start.

Grocery Pick-Up Information

HBCSD families are invited to participate in five Summer Harvest grocery pick-up days. Attend as many as you’d like—each pick-up offers a new supply of fresh items and support.
